Join a dynamic legal team supporting a global financial institution with a strong presence in corporate lending and private banking. Our client is seeking an experienced In-House Attorney to provide strategic legal guidance across a wide range of cross-border and domestic financing transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on corporate lending, trade finance, bilateral and syndicated loans, and secondary market transactions.
  • Provide legal support for international banking services and financial products, including regulatory review.
  • Support general operations, including contract negotiation, compliance, and risk management.
  • Liaise with external counsel in accordance with internal protocols.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from a U.S. law school; active Florida Bar membership.
  • Minimum 5 years of legal experience, preferably in-house at a financial institution or at a national/regional law firm.
  • Fluent in Spanish (spoken and written).
  • Strong background in financing transactions and international banking services.
  • Familiarity with U.S. banking regulations (e.g., OFR, Federal Reserve, OFAC, BSA/AML, privacy laws).
  • Experience with ISDA, LSTA, BAFT forms, and a variety of financial instruments.
  • Generalist legal skills including vendor and referral agreements, NDAs, term sheets, and litigation support.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid schedule based in Miami, FL.
